Ingredients
6
tbsp
cocoa powder, unsweetened
1½
tbsp
vegetable oil
½
cup
unsalted butter, melted
1
cup
sugar
1
tsp
vanilla
1
tsp
salt
½
tsp
baking soda
2
eggs
1
cup
flour
Toppings for the brownies (I used ¼ cup each of white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and coarsely chopped pecans)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° and spray a 9-inch round baking pan with nonstick spray. Set the pan aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cocoa powder, vegetable oil, and melted butter. Stir with a wooden spoon until mixed completely.
Add the sugar, vanilla, salt, baking soda, and eggs. Stir well.
Add the flour and stir just until combined - do not overmix.
Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle the top of the brownies with the toppings of your choice.
Bake the brownies for 30 to 35 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the brownies to cool before turning the pan upsidedown to release them from the pan.
Cut the brownies into 8 slices and serve.
