Peanut Butter Banana Oat Bars
Do you have super ripe bananas left, but don't want to make banana bread? This is the perfect dessert for you!

Ingredients

salted butter, room temperature

brown sugar

sugar

crunchy peanut butter

egg

ripe banana, mashed

tbsp
vanilla extract

tsp
baking soda

wheat flour

cups
old fashioned oats
1
cup
semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° and spray a 7x11 baking dish with nonstick spray. Set the dish aside.
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to mix the butter, brown sugar, sugar, and peanut butter together. Mix until completely blended.
Add the egg, mashed banana, and vanilla extract. Mix well again.
Add the baking soda, wheat flour, and oats. Mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
