Sometimes you just can’t decide what kind of cookie to make, and chocolate chip cookies just seem too “basic.” Not so with these scrumptious cookies!
About a month after moving into our new home, I found myself finally settled in and ready to have some serious fun in my new kitchen. My daughter, who also has a very respectable sweet tooth and loves warm cookies even more than I do, was more than ready to be of assistance in baking (and eating) homemade cookies with me. These were the first cookies we made in our new home!
Enter the amazing triple chocolate chip cookie. Let’s be honest, chocolate chip cookie recipes are great to have in the recipe arsenal. It seems like there are always opportunities to bring cookies to events, to share cookies with people you are thinking of, or just to make and enjoy at home. A plate of chocolate chip cookies always does the trick. Not to mention, I have never met someone who didn’t like chocolate chip cookies. In fact, chocolate chip cookies are my husband’s favorite, so I enjoy making delicious versions just for him!
What makes these cookies so amazing when there are so many chocolate chip cookie recipes out there? The brown sugar cookie base is super tender on the inside with a slightly crispy exterior. Then the three kinds of chocolate chips take the cookie to new levels, but not in a bad, overly sweet way. They are an indulgent treat that doesn’t take forever to make. These cookies are absolutely perfect for any “chocoholics” in your life! I hope you find them just as fantastic as my family does!
